Llama and Alpaca are two animal names that are mostly searched over the internet as both are very similar by body structure and life span, heights, and some other basic points in them. Llama and Alpaca both are domestic animals that are used in daily life work and some other purposes. These belong to the camel family, and their close family members are Guanaco (Scientific name: Lama guanicoe), and Vicuna (Scientific name is Vicugna vicugna). The average lifespan of an adult Llama is between 15 to 20 years approx. in the wild lifespan and the heights can be 1.7 to 1.8 meters from head to toe. These Llamas are also known for their spitting behavior, because they spit when they get angry.

In South American countries people also do farming of Llamas to get good benefits from these animals. Alpaca is also a tall animal but slightly smaller in comparison to Llama, and Alpaca is having a small and pretty head with long legs and necks. It has a short tail and short pointed ears in comparison to its body size which provides it a cute look. The average lifespan of an Alpaca is approx. 15 to 20 years and the longest lifespan can be 28 years, and the heights can be 0.80 to 1.1 meters from head to toe. An adult Alpaca weight can be between 50 to 80KG.
