His father’s name is Late Damodardas Mulchand Modi (born in the year 1915 and died in the year 1989), and his Mother’s name is Mrs. Hiraben Modi (born in the year 1920), whom he meets on special occasions. Modi born in a poor family, where his father had run a small tea shop to provide financial support to his family. He was 06 siblings including him and he is the third eldest among six. Modi was very sincere and hardworking since his childhood, he always helped his father at the tea shop at the Vadnagar Railway Station. Initially, he sold tea with his father, and after some time he starting working on a tea stall with his brother.
He joined RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) at the age of 08 years. Modi was an average student in school time however he loves to spend hours with books in the library, and this habit made him famous as a strong debater. He had completed his higher secondary education in 1967 from Vadnagar, he left his home at the age of 17 due to child marriage done by his family with Mrs. Jashodaben Narendrabhai Modi. After leaving his home he traveled several ashrams founded by Swami Vivekananda across the country for the coming two years. Modi returned back to his family and again he left his family and went to Ahmedabad to his uncle’s house.
Narendra Modi Education & Educational Life:-
He had completed his higher secondary education in 1967 from Vadnagar, Gujarat, and completed his Graduation in Arts from Delhi University in the year 1978. He did his Master’s degree in the year 1983 from Gujarat University. Modi was an average student in school time however he loves to spend hours with books in the library. He is an author and he wrote several books like Jyotipunj, Sakshi Bhaav, Exam Warriors, Aankh Aa Dhanya Che, Samajik Samrasta, Abode of Love, India’s Singapore Story, A Journey Poems by Narendra Modi, etc.. His first book which he wrote named is Sangharsh ma Gujarat (Gujarat in Emergency).
The political career of Mr. Narendra Modi :-
He started his political life from RSS where he joined at just the age of 08 years and just keep going with it. In June 1975, due to political crisis, the current Prime Minister of India Mrs. Indira Gandhi declared the State of Emergency and tried to ban some political organizations such as the RSS and other parties. This crisis ran for the next 02 years till 1977 and during that period Mr. Narendra Modi went underground to avoid arrest and he wrote a book named is Sangharsh ma Gujarat (Gujarat in Emergency) where he described all the major events during the Emergency.
In 1978, Modi became a Regional Organiser (Sambhag Pracharak) of RSS and kept an eye on all activities of RSS work in Surat and Vadodara. In 1985, Modi was assigned by the RSS to BJP to help them in all political needs and he organized a successful BJP’s campaign in the Ahmedabad for Municipal Election. In 1987, this was the time when Mr. Narendra Modi joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Gujarat unit, and then after he never looked back in his political career.
For the next upcoming years, he had played important role in the BJP party and did so many campaigns, Samaj Seva work, and many more projects for his party and Gujarat’s people. On 07th October 2001, he became the 14th Chief Minister of Gujarat and continue his win as CM till 22nd May 2014. Being as Gujarat CM he served 12 years and 227 days. In the 2014 Lok Sabha Election, he was the leading face of the BJP party in the election of 2014 and won 282 seat elections and got the honor of becoming the 14th prime minister of India.
